Kurt Wallrath is a Los Angeles based MoVI Operator and Technician. After receiving his Bachelor of Art degree in film production at Cal State Northridge, Kurt Wallrath started his film career as a rigging grip on the feature film, "Fun with Dick and Jane." He worked on other productions until he decided to move on to becoming a production assistant on the  feature, "Legally Blondes." He worked as a production assistant until the writer's strike started. Taking the advice from one of the camera assistants on "Legally Blondes", Kurt begin working at a camera rental house to learn all he could about cameras and their accessories. After hearing a lot of buzz about a new camera stabilizer around town in 2013, Kurt decided to pre-order the MoVI M10. The investment paid off as the calls started to come in for requests for a MoVI tech and operator. Since then, Kurt has worked on dozens of commercials, music videos and web videos. Some of the clients Kurt has worked for include Nike, Jeep, Chipotle, HBO, ESPN and others.
